Recomended tutorial on Modelica

I am looking for a tutorial on Modelica for users.
A popular book seems to be Peter Fritzons book "Principles of
Objected Oriented Modeling and Simulation with Modelica 2.1", see
http://eu.wiley.com/WileyCDA/WileyTitle/productCd-0471471631.html

However the book is out of print as far as I understand.
I have had contact both with Bokus and Wiley.

Does anybody know how to get a copy or are there other good alternatives?

Hello,

Try looking it up in an university library.

"Introduction to Physical Modeling with Modelica" by Michael Tiller is also a good book for beginners.

Fritzsons back available again

I have just received Fritzsons book from Amazon - 900 pages.
I am not sure if I got one of the last available books or it is a reprint.

A much more concise introduction to Modelica is chatper 9 in "Modellbygge och simulering"
by Lennart Ljung and Torsten Glad (Studentlitteratur, 2004) - all in 15 pages.

What I am looking for, and I guess other newcomers also are, is a tutorial of size and
ambition somewhere in between these two.

Any ideas?

The book by Mike Tiller is a very old version of Modelica, but a good tutorial type introduction that is mostly still valid. A lot more modeling oriented than Fritzsons book. Amzon link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Introduction-Physical-Modeling-International-Eng...

I finally got the book by Mike Tiller from the KTH library.
This book seems much better for my needs!

Thanks
