Hej!

While simulating a model, I got the following error (attached). This is what the Sundials-IDASolve web page says:

-4: The solver took mxstep internal steps but could not reach TOUT.
The default value for mxstep is 500.

Is the solution to this to increase the max number of the steps or to solve it in a more intelligent way? This happens at the moment when there was a discontinuity in the model, but it was smoothed out.
